When it comes to shipping your vehicle, there are a few options, Top of the Line Transport can work with you to determine the best option for your situation. Once we take all the factors into account, and determine which are the most important to you, we can make a good decision on the right lane to relocate your vehicle. It all begins with proper planning and having everything in order prior to delivery of the vehicle to the dock – Top of the Line Transport provides its clients with this peace of mind that all bases are covered and the freight is under control.

Obtain a written cost estimate
Most companies give free estimates, so be sure to ask ahead of time. The estimate is not binding, so the final cost may differ.

Cost
The cost of shipping your vehicle is priced based on size, and the port of departure. Once on island, you will be required to pay a road tax of $.16/Lb. of vehicle weight. Also required is DMV fees and registrations costs. This number varies depending on the weight of the vehicle, but is normally $90.00 - $200.00. If your vehicle’s serial number begins with a 1, 4 or a 5 the vehicle is made in the USA and is not dutiable. If it begins with a 2 or 3, the duty rate is 6%. Any other digit is 3.5% (Above applies for vehicle that are departing from a US port and have been previously licensed in the USA).

Requirements for all customers shipping vehicles to the Virgin Islands:

PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure any vehicle delivered to and tendered for export must contain no more than one-quarter tank of fuel as per 49CFR 176.905 (a) (2). Failure in doing so will delay the shipping of your vehicle and additional storage charges may apply.

1. Booking # (Reservation # with Customer Service Department).

2. Copy of Title (or authorization from the Financial Institution, if financed).

3. Deposit (Certified Check, Money Order, Visa or Master Card).

4. EIN Number.

5. Non running vehicles will pay an additional $150.00 fee.
Top of the Line Transport no longer accepts "Non Running Vehicles" in Port Everglades, FL.

6.No additional items may be left inside the vehicle or there will be a minimum additional cost of $350 depending on the cargo. Top of the Line Transport will not be held responsible for any missing items.

Pickup Vehicles in the Jacksonville, FL; Port Everglades, FL;
Upon arrival in the USA, vehicles are subject to Customs Inspection. USDA randomly does an inspection and this fee will be added to the final Invoice. Upon release, Top of the Line Transport will contact the customer to pick up shipments or arrange transport to the final destination. (Customer should ensure that they are contacted prior to making arrangements to pick up the vehicle).

The free time to pick up shipments varies by the US ports.

Any INOP vehicle must be in accessible area for the carrier and must roll, brake, and steer. If vehicle does not meet these requirements then other fees may apply.
