Pickup Vehicles in the US Virgin Islands:

Upon arrival in the US Virgin Islands, vehicles are subject to a process prior to pick up. A local Insurance policy has to be in placed unless you have USAA which is the only policy accepted. Road Tax has to be paid to the IRS. Vehicle has to be cleared by Excise Tax. The vehicle is then processed by Customs and duties paid if applicable. You can now get a permit from the BMV to retrieve from the port and get it Inspected. Top of the Line Transport can also see to the licensing and registration of the vehicle for you. We can have your vehicle plated and road ready, so you don’t have to.

Pickup Vehicles at Port Everglades, FL.

Upon arrival in the USA, vehicles are subject to Customs Inspection and also USDA randomly inspects and charges a fee for their services. If applicable this fee will be added to the final Invoice. Upon release, Top of the Line Transport will contact the customer to pick up shipments or arrange transport to the final destination. (Customer should ensure that they are contacted prior to making arrangements to pick up the vehicle).

The free time to pick up shipments at PEV. DEMURRAGE - US IMPORT AT CARRIER'S TERMINAL IN PEV:

Except as may be otherwise provided, all Equipment released for unloading at U.S. ports shall be allowed a total of seven (7) calendar days Demurrage Free Time which shall commence at 0800 on the Day following complete discharge of the vessel. If the vehicle is not released by Customs for pickup there will be an additional charge of $25 per day until it is released by the Customs starting on the 8th day. Top of the Line Transport requires 3 to 5 days after notice of release to schedule a pickup from the port if applicable.
